Your First Visit
When you arrive at our Toronto dental office, our staff will warmly welcome you and offer you a water or tea from our beverage station. Our Patient Liaison will offer you a tour of the office and answer any questions you have, as well as assist you with any remaining paperwork!
When it is time for your appointment, our friendly dental assistant will gather all the necessary clinical data for our dentist, including x-rays and a thorough oral exam. Your dentist will join you shortly thereafter for a comprehensive discussion about your oral health, covering your health history, past dental experiences, and any anxieties or concerns you may have. If your case is more involved, we will book you for a more detailed consultation with your dentist and treatment coordinator. If you are orally healthy—which is always our goal at North Shores Dental!—we will schedule you for your first hygiene appointment. You can expect your first hygiene appointment to last for about 2 hours.
If you suffer from dental anxiety, you can relax with our sedation dentistry options. Our office enthusiastically welcomes children, and will be happy to offer a tour to put their minds at ease.
